Spring really sprang on the weekend of 9th and 10th April as we held our Foundation Training in glorious sunshine. 20 knowledgable and enthusiastic volunteers became Master Gardeners, resourced and ready to support people with their food growing. These join our 38 other active volunteers working with families, schools, individuals and community gardens in the boroughs of Wandsworth, Lambeth and Southwark. It was a jam-packed couple of days of activities, talking non-stop about fruit and veg, and networking…it’s going to be a busy summer!
Within hours of completing the course, our new MGs were adding events, blogs, case studies and their profiles to the website. Click here for our A-Z list and interactive map to find a Master Gardener near you. You can also contact us.
